ACSS Acquired by Wakeflow

We're writing with some fantastic news we're excited to share: ACSS has a new owner. Wakeflow, a software development firm specialising in Google Cloud and AI software development, has acquired the business.

ACSS has been built on trust, long-standing relationships, and practical support that works. That is what matters most to us, and it is what we wanted to protect above everything else.

First, the important point: nothing changes in your day-to-day. Both of us — Richard and Sarah — are staying on, so you will continue to deal with the same people, on the same numbers and email addresses, with the same support you are used to. Your Aquarius system carries on exactly as before.

We chose Wakeflow because they understand that. This was not just about finding someone to take the business on; it was about finding a team who would respect what customers rely on today, while helping us move Aquarius forward.

What this means for Aquarius

What this does change is what we can offer you going forward. Wakeflow brings a team of seven developers behind Aquarius NG — far more development capacity than the business has ever had — which means faster improvements, quicker fixes, and a stronger product. There are two things in particular we are looking forward to showing you:

A new version of Aquarius

This brings AI features, better reporting, and integrates fully with the new customer-facing ordering app.

A customer-facing ordering app

A new ordering app will allow your customers to place orders directly, including by phone and chat with AI support. The app links in realtime with Aquarius, so the ordering information stays current and aligned with your system data.

Next steps

Over the next month we'd like to set up a call with each of you and your colleagues, so the new team can introduce themselves properly, show you what's in development, and hear what you'd like to see from Aquarius in the future. As Wakeflow becomes fully embedded in Aquarius, Richard will move into a more consultative role, remaining available to support continuity and share his knowledge where needed. Sarah will expand her role to include the management of your account. In short, the people you know remain involved, and the support you rely on remains in place.
